Anxiety doesn’t come to people who thinks they are failure or fails in achievements but also to people who are successful or perceived to be successful. It is caused when you have expectations, insecurity and fear of failure, losing or anything. Even successful people like Aamir gets anxious, insecure and fearful before release of any of his films. Dangal has released today, however Aamir has not been able to sleep for more than a month now (before the release of the film). As the release date was nearing, the anxiety reached its peak, he couldn’t face people during special screening of his film or any social gathering whereas he was calling friends at 3 am or 4 am to cover over to his house and talk with him. He could only be able to sleep by 6 am to be awake again in few hours.

Aamir has been nervous about the film that he watched the screening of the film at 6 am to feel the grandeur of the film on screen at a movie theatre. He cuts off from people and then get back to them. This feeling has come for a reason, sometimes we are able to understand it and sometimes we can’t, its about conscious or sub conscious mind.  Áamir has been immersed in the movie for the past 2 years, involved in the minutest of things with the only aim to be as or more successful than his previous ventures. It has taken his emotions, his physical strength by gaining weight than losing it, money, efforts, time and energy. It took toll on his physical as well as mental health. Though he is lucky to be successful and surrounded by people all the time, who come to his rescue whenever he needs them but no one can even understand what he goes through. The fight with himself, more than anyone to prove himself time and again is painful and torturous. Sadly, it grows with time and even medication doesn’t help after a while.

Aamir also suffers from death anxiety while shooting for his films.Death anxiety is also referred to as thanatophobia (fear of death) which is a specific fear of dead or dying persons and/or things. To prevent any disruptions in the ongoing proceedings of the shoot, Aamir specifies clearly specifies the dos and don’ts if anything happens to him.

During ‘Dangal’s’ shoot, Aamir had a 5-month break between his schedules and he told Niteish Tiwari, the director of the film that if anything happened to him in the meanwhile, everything would still be on and that the director would just have to find a person to play the character of young Mahavir Singh Phogat. He is said to have even suggested the names of Varun Dhawan, Shahid Kapur, Ranveer Singh and Ranbir Kapoor.
